Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D/3D layout of Photovoltaic (PV) system
- Prepare design drawings for Solar PV systems (Module layouts, string arrangement, single line diagram, data acquisition)
- Assist to investigate different materials that can be used for balance of system in PV system
- Understand SCDF regulations for implementing Solar installations and conduct review of solar PV system design
- Prepare PV system simulation (PVSyst) and 3D shading analysis.
- Prepare sketchup for PVsyst shading analysis
- Prepare PV system simulation report with helioscope
- Support site survey to prepare BOQ
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Power Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced Excel capability
- Electrical Engineering Fundamentals
- Modelling and simulation software such as PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, AutoCAD
- Self-starter and ability to self-manage
- Can-do attitude, problem solver
- Flexible and Willing to learn
- Contribute and work efficiently as a team member and achieve objectives as a group rather than as an individual
