As a Smart Lean Intern, you will support engineers in conducting production shopfloor studies focused on Smart Lean initiatives. You will contribute to process improvement efforts by analyzing internal data, applying industry best practices, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to Smart Lean methodologies and operational excellence in medical device manufacturing.
What you will do
- Collaborate with engineers to conduct production shopfloor studies on Smart Lean initiatives
- Support the application and implementation of industry best practices to improve processes
- Analyse internal data to generate insights and support process improvement
- Develop process understanding and expertise in a medical device manufacturing environment
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across operations
- Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
What you bring
- Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field
- Interest in manufacturing, process improvement, or Lean methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and willing to learn in a shopfloor environment.
