Description
- Identify and analyze existing operational waste and support Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) initiatives through automation, process optimization, and work method reviews
- Perform on‑site observation and conduct time and motion studies on the production shopfloor to support productivity and capacity analysis
- Assist Industrial Engineers in collecting, analyzing, and validating operational data for improvement projects
- Support the preparation, maintenance, and version control of Industrial Engineering (IE) documentation (process flows, SOPs, time study records, layouts, etc.)
- Participate in IE‑related OEE tracking, CIP implementation, and performance improvement activities
- Support data visualization and reporting for IE projects (e.g., dashboards, trend analysis, KPI tracking)
Responsibilities
Required Experience and Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (data analysis, charting, and presentation skills)
- Good knowledge and hands‑on experience in coding, application development, and dashboard reporting (e.g., Python, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools)
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or production processes is an advantage
- Ability to observe processes critically and apply data‑driven problem‑solving approaches
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working on the production shopfloor
