Sembcorp Specialised Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, provides design and build services with an in-house multidisciplinary consultancy. Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and development of mechanical system designs , including ACMV, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Support the assigned mentor in performing basic mechanical design calculations .
- Draft and update design layouts, models, and schematics using Revit and other relevant design tools.
- Assist in preparing design documentation , including technical reports, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Coordinate mechanical design work with other disciplines such as structural, electrical, and architectural teams.
- Participate in project coordination and ensure design outputs comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide general support to the engineering team throughout various stages of the project.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Background in Mechanical Engineering , Building Services, or equivlent
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and building services systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is an advantage
- Strong willingness to learn mechanical design calculations and engineering tools.
- Good teamwork and communication skills for working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward solving problems.
- Due to the sensitive nature of the project, only Singaporean candidates will be considered.
