Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Bosch for a fulfilling internship opportunity! This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a corporate environment, allowing you to contribute to ongoing projects while learning from experienced professionals. As an Intern, Robotic and AI for Smart Circular Solutions, you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experienced team members. This role focuses on developing technologies that will automate and facilitate tasks involved in the circular value chain, e.g. product benchmarking, part inspection, disassembly, sorting etc.
What you will do (Key Responsibilities)
. Conduct literature review on the usage of AI and robotics in circular economy.
. Develop and integrate mechanism (e.g. end-effector) to enhance existing demonstrator.
. Maintain and further develop existing software and codebase with additional functionalities.
. Set up an integrated demonstration to showcase the concept developed.
. Validate feasibility and performance through trials and experiments.
. Provide project updates, presentations, and support demonstrations for project stakeholders.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
. Able to work full time for a period of at least 6 months
. Undergraduate/graduate studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or computer science.
. Hands-on experience with collaborative robots.
. Experience with 3D modeling and usage of CAD software.
. Proficiency in software development (e.g., C++, Python, ROS 2, Git etc.)
. Familiarity with AI/ML/Agent frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain etc.)
. Self-motivated, able to work independently and possess great problem-solving skills.
. Effective communication and presentation skills.
