Job Description

Catapult is a new Shared Executive Learning Centre in the Rochester Park area in Singapore. It is a purpose-built state-of-the-art learning centre that aims to groom the next generation of business leaders by creating the ideal learning environment and facilitating an ecosystem of learning, collaboration, and connection, all delivered through experiential and immersive experiences.

About The Internship

As a Placemaking Marketing and Events Intern, you will play a key role in shaping the identity and vibrancy of the Catapult campus and its surrounding ecosystem. This internship offers hands-on experience in marketing, branding, and event management, allowing you to contribute to impactful placemaking initiatives.

You will support the creation of compelling content and campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, assist in managing social media engagement, and analyse media performance. Additionally, you'll be involved in planning and executing events—from learning showcases to community gatherings—ensuring seamless delivery and memorable experiences.

This internship will help you sharpen your marketing and communication skills, build confidence in stakeholder engagement, and develop strong project management capabilities in a fast-paced, creative environment.

What You Will Get To Do

Marketing & Branding:

  • Undertake the marketing and branding efforts for the placemaking programme, ensuring alignment with the destination's brand identity
  • Create compelling content and campaigns that highlight the unique features and offerings of Catapult campus and/or the surrounding ecosystem
  • Utilize digital and traditional marketing channels to promote the destination, programmes and events
  • Assist in content creation and community engagement for Catapult social media platform to drive follower acquisition and stickiness, and assist in data analysis of organic and paid media campaigns

Events Planning & Management:

  • Assist in Catapult events such as learning showcases or community events, from the execution of events to content creation for social platforms and case studies from each session. These learning experiences and events could occur in in-person, virtual, or hybrid settings
  • Ensure seamless execution of events, from concept to post-event evaluation, maintaining high standards of quality
  • Collaborate with partners, vendors, and service providers to deliver memorable experiences

What We Are Looking For

  • Students from the field of Business, Real Estate, Marketing, and/or Event Management may apply
  • We are looking for an independent individual with a drive to make things work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills ( able to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders )
  • Strong marketing capabilities, and media expertise. Strong presentation skills, ability to work with graphics, multi-media platforms, and video editing
  • Agile team player, ability to learn quickly and with a curiosity and passion for getting the job done
  • Strong organization and event/project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to work independently, solution-orientated with a positive attitude, good initiative and sense of humour!
