Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of M&E systems for building and infrastructure projects.
- Support M&E engineers in conducting site inspections, testing, and commissioning of M&E installations.
- Work with AutoCAD and other software to prepare technical drawings and documentation.
- Assist in reviewing project specifications, blueprints, and engineering reports.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices and new technologies in M&E engineering.
- Participate in project meetings and provide support in coordination with various stakeholders, including contractors and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all M&E operations.
- Document project progress and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, lighting, electrical power distribution, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other M&E design software is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interpret, analyse, evaluate and synthesise information at workplace.
- Ability to apply engineering training in internship.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
