Internship Opportunity Leveraged Product Department (Convertible to Full-Time)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Leveraged Product Department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on exposure to client servicing, financing solutions, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic investment banking environment. Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to a full-time role upon graduation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the front-line sales team in servicing institutional clients, ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices etc.
  • Assist in the development of tailored financing solutions leveraging Maybank Securities comprehensive product suite, including margin financing, credit facilities, and investment-linked structures
  • Contribute to day-to-day administrative functions, including client onboarding and ensuring compliance with KYC and regulatory requirements

This internship is ideal for those looking to gain foundational experience in client relationship management, structured financing, and capital markets.

Requirements

  • Penultimate-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and engage with high-profile clients
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability when dealing with confidential information
  • Proactive and responsible team player with strong initiative and attention to detail
