As an IT Quality Assurance Intern, you will support the IT Quality function in ensuring compliance, documentation governance, and quality processes across IT systems. You will be involved in document control, audit support, and quality communication activities, while gaining exposure to Computer Software Validation (CSV), IT General Controls, and regulated industry practices. This role is designed for students interested in pursuing IT Quality Assurance as a career path and offers hands-on experience in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
What you will do
- Support the creation and revision of IT policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions, from drafting to final release
- Assist in document control and training administration, including uploading documents to the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensuring proper audience assignment
- Produce IT Quality newsletters and presentations to communicate key updates and initiatives
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather information and support the release of IT-controlled documents and periodic reports
- Support digitization and archival of legacy documents, including coordination with external vendors to ensure compliance with data retention requirements
- Shadow analysts in assessment and validation activities for non-product computer systems, and assist in preparing IT General Controls reports
- Support onboarding by assisting in training new joiners on Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
What you bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development, IT systems, or testing processes; exposure to CSV or regulated environments is a plus
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, client-server architecture, AI, or cloud-based systems is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage tasks from initiation to closure and work in a structured environment
- Interest in IT Quality Assurance, compliance, and governance processes
- Professional communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
