As an Information Security Technical Intern (GRC Operations & Audit Support), you will support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities through documentation, coordination, and audit support. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate record-keeping, timely follow-ups, and effective tracking of compliance activities. This role offers exposure to IT governance, audit processes, and control frameworks within an information security environment.

What you will do

  • Support the review of control assessments and audit evidence to ensure completeness and proper documentation
  • Assist in maintaining and updating control inventories, audit records, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track audit requests, follow up on evidence, and monitor remediation actions
  • Support the preparation of reports, dashboards, and compliance tracking summaries
  • Assist with administrative and coordination tasks, including scheduling, documentation updates, and audit activities.

What you bring

  • Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business, IT, or a related field
  • Interest in governance, risk management, compliance, or IT audit
  • Basic understanding of IT systems or business processes (academic exposure is sufficient)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft O365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Comfortable working with documentation and structured data
  • Willingness to learn control frameworks and audit processes (e.g. ISO 27001)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up with stakeholders
  • Professional and responsible when handling sensitive or internal information.
