This role resides in NTUC's Industrial Relations & Analysis Department. You will be part of the research and analysis team that: Generates actionable insights of patterns, trends, opportunities, and threats that may impact the Singapore's workforce; and subsequently, Formulates and presents data-driven options for the business units and front-line officers decisions in areas of policy and industrial relations, that would best secure and advance workers interest Works with tripartite partners on formulating and implementing operational labour policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake research in labour-related issues, such as on wage trends and other labour market indicators across countries and draw actionable implications for NTUC and tripartite partners. This can take the form of desktop research or statistical analysis to identify patterns and trends
  • Support the department in the automation of data collation process
  • Prepare and present research outcomes

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of economics and interest in labour-related issues
  • Experience in data science, visualisation, and storytelling, including the use of tools such as R, Python and/or PowerBI
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
