Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Resource Optimization Efforts: Develop model to derive resource requirement for labor, machinery, and materials. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improving resource utilization and reducing waste.
- Support Continuous Improvement Projects: Conduct basic analysis of existing workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement. Assist in recommending changes that could streamline operations and improve efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean principles. Track results of improvement activities.
- KPI Tracking & Reporting: Assist in the development and management of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency, resource utilization, and quality metrics. Help track performance data and create reports to provide insights to the team.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams and Project Assistance: Work closely with different departments, including management, engineering, and production teams, to help implement process improvements and achieve operational goals.
- Learn and Apply Best Practices: Gain exposure to best practices in resource optimization and continuous improvement. Assist with research on new techniques or tools that could benefit the team's objectives.
Key Requirements
- Learn lean principles, process improvement methodologies, project management, industrial engineering, planning and systems.
- Currently pursuing degree in any engineering, operations management or planning, supply chain, data science, or business analytics.
- Growth mindset and passion for improvement.
