Job Summary
The intern will support the team in equity investment analysis while building knowledge of market dynamics, valuation, and financial modelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of public equity markets, sector dynamics, and the impact of global/country-level macroeconomic and company-specific factors on investment performance — including how AI-driven market signals and sentiment analysis tools are reshaping how investors interpret data in real time.
- Learn the fundamentals of equity valuation, financial modelling, and the use of research tools and databases (Bloomberg), while exploring how AI-assisted platforms can accelerate data retrieval, pattern recognition, and comparable analysis.
- Experience the end-to-end investment decision-making process — from initial research to building conviction on investment ideas, balancing potential reward and risk
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations, leveraging AI productivity tools to improve the speed and quality of drafting, data visualisation, and narrative structuring.
- Support the team in monitoring portfolio companies and market developments, using AI-powered news aggregation and screening tools to flag material changes and emerging trends efficiently.
Key Requirements
- Undergraduate in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Basic knowledge of equity markets and financial concepts
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus
- Interest in financial modelling and valuation
- Comfortable using AI tools for research and data analysis
