The successful candidate will join a cohesive and high-performing Equities team. The candidate must demonstrate a strong fit with the team, with the ability to embrace the team's investment process while learning from and leveraging off the deep experience within the team.
Key Accountabilities
- Work side-by-side with our Portfolio Managers and Analysts to build in-depth knowledge on our investment process and philosophy, products, clients and markets
- Participate in the valuation process and be involved in building of financial models
- Contribute to enhancing the process through strong excel or programming skills
- Apply equity research skills by conducting research on allocated stocks and sectors, where necessary
Qualifications And Experience
- Passionate with a desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative work environment
- Highly motivated, able to think logically, critically & quickly
- Demonstrates excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills and apply these to creative and technically challenging model building
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Confidence with initiative to take on responsibilities and manage own projects
- Self-starter with a curiosity within Global Emerging Markets
