Job Summary

AEON Bank is Malaysia's first Islamic digital bank, and we are looking for a forward-thinking, numbers-driven Finance Intern to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with seasoned finance professionals to support everything from segment-level performance tracking to corporate financial reporting. Job Responsibilities

As a Finance Intern, you will actively contribute to our daily operations and strategic reporting by:

• Segmental Reporting: Assisting with the compilation and preparation of segmental data to evaluate individual business performance across our digital ecosystem.
• Industry & Business Analysis: Researching market trends and tracking industry benchmarks to help prepare high-impact insights for presentations and stakeholder discussions.
• Interim Financial Statements: Supporting the team in gathering, checking, and drafting our interim financial statement disclosures in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Core Financial Operations: Assisting with crucial day-to-day accounting and data integrity tasks, including monthly bank reconciliations and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) analyses.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who brings a solid foundational understanding of finance mixed with a curiosity for tech:

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a closely related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data formatting are your close friends).
• Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot trends, anomalies, and patterns in large datasets.
• Cultural Fit: A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced corporate startup environment and values digital innovation.
