Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Environmental & Social Risk Identification
    • Support environmental and social risk assessments for projects and operations, including screening and evaluation using relevant software tools and platforms.
    • Conduct physical climate risk assessments, considering climate hazards such as heat stress, flooding, and extreme weather impacts.
    • Assist with research on environmental and sustainability topics (e.g. biodiversity, nature‑related risks, climate resilience) and emerging best practices to inform assessments and internal discussions

  • GHG Emissions Accounting & Environmental Performance
    • Validate and review environmental and GHG emissions data submitted by markets within cloud‑based data management platforms, ensuring consistency and data quality across business units and geographies.
    • Perform data analysis on environmental metrics to support internal sustainability tracking, performance monitoring, and management reporting.
    • Assist in the preparation of environmental and climate‑related reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

  • License‑to‑Operate & Sustainability Risk Support
    • Support license‑to‑operate risk management through systematic data management, documentation, and reporting.
    • Prepare clear and concise reports and presentation slides to communicate sustainability risks, insights, and trends to internal stakeholders.
    • Coordinate inputs across teams to support sustainability governance, reporting cycles, and assurance processes where required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Background in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Data Analytics, Geography, Climate Studies, or equivalent.
  • Strong interest and foundational knowledge in environmental sustainability , including topics such as carbon accounting, biodiversity, nature‑related risks, environmental and social safeguards, and physical climate hazards.
  • Familiarity with sustainability, ESG, or climate‑related concepts and frameworks is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, documentation, and presentation development.
  • Experience or interest in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to cloud‑based sustainability or environmental data platforms is an advantage.
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with data.
  • Able to organise information clearly and translate analysis into structured reports and presentation materials.
  • Self‑motivated team player with the ability to learn quickly and work across multiple sustainability topics.
