Duration: 3 to 6 months
The intern will assist the Sustainability, Certification & Policy team with research, project coordination, and the creation of sustainability strategies for clients across various industries. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in environmental consulting, ESG, and sustainable advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices related to sustainability, with a focus on areas such as green procurement and eco-labelling.
- Analyse data and information to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the field of environmental sustainability, providing insights to inform decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development and refinement of green certification standards and criteria, ensuring alignment with international benchmarks and local contexts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within SEC to integrate sustainability principles into various sectors and industries, promoting the adoption of eco-friendly practices.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and research findings in the field of environmental sustainability, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.
Job Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program in environmental science, sustainability, policy studies, or a related field
- Good research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work as a team and work independently,
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability, demonstrated through previous academic or extracurricular activities.
