The Education Services Union (ESU), an affiliate of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), is dedicated to supporting and advocating for the rights and interests of private education professionals. Our mission is to enhance the professional lives of our union members through membership engagement, leadership development, and effective industrial relations.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Assist in preparing event-related documents, reports, and schedules
- Maintain accurate records of vendor and stakeholder communications
- Support tracking of RSVP lists, bookings, and task deadlines
Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
- Draft and send invitations, reminders, and other communications to stakeholders
- Liaise with vendors, guests, and internal teams for coordination matters
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, talking points, or event programs
Logistics & Operational Support
- Coordinate logistics for event venues, catering, and equipment setup
- Support registration processes and manage event day check-in
- Assist with on-site event coordination including guest management and troubleshooting
Membership
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase membership engagement and growth.
- Assist in content creation for ESU's social media platforms.
- Support membership campaigns and events.
Requirements:
- Possesses strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse audience.
- An innovative and strategic thinker passionate about community engagement.
- A collaborative individual who is detail-oriented and proficient in using Microsoft Office
