Job Description

The intern will be responsible in the following: Support analysis and data modeling to identify opportunities for improving business and investment decision-making
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to investments, and asset operations
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical problem statements
- Conduct exploratory analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Evaluate potential solutions, including their risks, benefits, and impact, using data-driven approaches
- Prepare clear analyses, presentations, and documentation to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Contribute to analytics initiatives, dashboards, or prototypes that enable better decision-making for business users
- Support workshops, user discussions, or training sessions where required
- Assist in documenting processes, analytical frameworks, and data methodologies Learning Outcomes: Exposure to the various industries across Keppel businesses – asset management, energy & environment, connectivity and urban development. Gain a strong understanding of the investment life cycle.
Job Requirements
Strong interest in data analytics, business analysis, or data science
- Basic understanding of fund management, investments, real assets, or financial concepts is preferred
- Comfortable working with data and analytical tools (e.g. SQL, Python, BI tools)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-moving environment
