About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our company as an Intern in the Corporate Development department for a period of 6 months. The individual will help support the company's growth and expansion through both organic (e.g. market entry, developing new business models etc.) and inorganic (e.g. transactions, partnerships etc.) initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Support analyses and/or due diligence to assess and evaluate the financial and strategic aspects of potential initiatives.
  • Perform market research to understand the trends, competitive landscape, political and regulatory environment to assess market / target potential.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing clear and concise presentations and memos to illustrate proposed initiatives, strategic considerations, and recommended actions.
  • Assist in business performance reporting to parent company.
  • Provide strategic and operational support to group companies.

What You Will Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (Year 2 onwards)
  • Prior internship experience in corporate development, transaction advisory, or management consulting roles is a plus.
  • Good understanding of financial statements, ability to analyze commercial issues from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives. Pursuit of professional qualifications such as CFA is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethics, effective communication skills, and a high level of professional accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams, with a proactive can-do attitude and strong willingness to learn.
  • Capable of thriving in high-pressure, dynamic, and evolving environments.
