Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Bosch for a fulfilling internship opportunity! This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a corporate environment, allowing you to contribute to ongoing projects while learning from experienced professionals. As an AI Research Intern, you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experience team members.

What you will do (Key Responsibilities)

. Investigate state-of-the-art methods in the field of Statistical Analysis, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and/or other related AI methods for process optimization.

. Conduct regular technical discussions to deep dive into problem statement.

. Support data collection and preprocessing.

. Propose concept using the suitable methodologies to solve the pain points.

. Develop and validate proof-of-concept.

. Provide project updates, presentations, and support demonstrations for project stakeholders.

. Work on an actual industrial case study provided by the Bosch plant and develop a novel solution to solve the current pain point in advancing AI-based Process Optimization application in the manufacturing domain, aiming to reduce production defect rates and improve the production efficiency.


Qualifications

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

. Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (Feb 2026 onwards).

. Undergraduate/graduate studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or Engineering.

. Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch/TensorFlow and related libraries.

. Proficiency in Python and/or C++ and coding best practices.

. Self-motivated, able to work independently and possess great problem-solving skills.

. Effective communication and presentation skills.

Bonus Points If You.

. Experience with software architecture and CI/CD pipeline.
