JOB DESCRIPTION - INTERN- ADMIN ASSISTANT
Key Responsibilities
1. Research & Grants Support
Conduct detailed research on available government grants, hiring incentives, and startup support schemes
Compile summaries of eligibility criteria, funding amounts, application processes, and deadlines
Assist in preparing documentation and supporting materials for grant applications
Track grant submissions and maintain proper documentation records
2. Administrative Support
Provide general administrative and clerical support to management
Prepare slides and presentation materials using Canva
Organise, file, and maintain company documents (digital and physical)
Support office management duties including vendor coordination and supplies management
Assist in office relocation tasks including document organisation and logistics coordination
Collect and submit documents outside the office when required
3. Basic Accounting Support
Tally receipts and organise expense records
Assist in retrieving financial reports
Support basic bookkeeping documentation and reconciliation tasks
Ensure proper filing of invoices and payment records
4. General Support
Provide ad-hoc assistance to management as assigned
Support special projects and operational tasks as needed
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, HR, Accounting, or related fields
Strong research and analytical skills
Good organisational and time management skills
Detail-oriented and responsible
Proficient in Microsoft, Sharepoint and Outlook
Familiarity with Canva is preferred
Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Willing to perform occasional outdoor duties (e.g., document collection/submission)
