Job Title: Intern (Accounting, APAC)

Location: Mountbatten Road, Singapore

Work arrangement: On-site

Internship period: March 2026 - August 2026 (minimum 3 months)

Position Overview

Are you ready to kick-start your Finance career and make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Our company is seeking a self-motivated and meticulous Accounting Intern to join our APAC Finance team. This is your chance to gain hands-on and practical experience, develop an understanding of finance operations, accounting and reporting, build professional skills in teamwork, communication and problem solving and build a foundation for a career in finance, accounting and related fields.

As an Accounting Intern, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to impactful Finance projects: Work alongside our talented team on Finance projects across the APAC region. Assist in checking, reconciling and validating various reports.
  • Gain practical experience in Finance Operations: Assist with processing invoices, payments, and receipts. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Support Finance team in Month End Closing and Reporting processes.
  • Gain Insight on Audit and Compliance Matters: Support internal or external audit processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Strengthen your reporting and analytical skills: Assist in preparing finance reports and analyzing financial data such as revenue and expenses. Help in Forecast and Budget preparation.
  • Support Finance excellence: Works independently on assigned responsibilities and timely manages the workload of assigned areas in a deadline focused environment. Takes ownership of assigned operational responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Learn and develop: Gain exposure to financial software (e.g. Excel, JD Edwards, Insights) and learn about financial processes, regulations, and best practices.

  • Academic foundation: You're a second-year or final-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Accountancy or currently doing a Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
  • Practical experience: While not required, prior internship experience in an Accounting/Finance department environment is a plus and will give you a head start.
  • Collaborative skills: Ability to communicate and present findings clearly and collaborate well with team members.
  • Organizational flair: High level of accuracy, detail-oriented, have strong initiative, is well-organized, and ready to handle multiple tasks with efficiency.
  • Tech-savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must for navigating the role seamlessly.
