Job Description:
- Responsible for building and maintaining the bank's payment system, overseeing quality of deliverables through end-to-end and performance tests.
- The team follows an Agile methodology for software development.
- Research, design, and develop software.
- Analyse user needs and develop software solutions.
- Develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Develop automation test frameworks.
- Work with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems.
- Assist test lead in the development of test strategies and also act as backup tech lead.
- Prepare documentation for design and implementation.
- Update software, enhance existing software capabilities, and develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
- Continuously improve automated testing methodologies to enable testers to maximize test coverage of the full depth of enterprise products.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Programming & Systems Analysis / Science (Computer Studies)
- At least 5 years in Java/J2EE development.
- At least 2 years of experience in testing automation development
- Strong understanding of test automation best practices, with the ability to propose improvements.
- Basic understanding of finance and investment banking, payments and cash management.
- Skilled in Talend Open Studio for Big Data.
- Spring, Spring-Boot, Junit, Mockito, PowerMock.
- Apache Camel.
- IBM Websphere MQ.
- Automation frameworks or concepts.
- Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance benchmarking.
- Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/Team City, Cucumber.
- GIT, TDD using Junit, DBUnit, Jira/QC.
- Apache Storm, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache HBase, gRPC is a plus.
