As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Interior Consultant with strong design intuition and confident sales acumen.
About the Role
The Interior Sales Advisor is the first touchpoint for prospective clients guiding them through initial consultations, understanding their design needs, and presenting tailored solutions that align with CLO Suites design philosophy. You will play an essential role in converting enquiries into confirmed projects while delivering a hightouch, luxury client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
- Serve as the primary contact for new enquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
- Conduct discovery calls and consultations to understand client needs, style preferences, and project scope.
- Present the studio's services, design approach, and value proposition clearly and confidently.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and scope-of-work summaries.
- Guide clients through the decision-making process and handle objections with tact and clarity.
- Maintain an active pipeline, follow up on leads, and track progress through each sales stage.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure proposals are aligned with client expectations and project feasibility.
- Build long-term client relationships to support referrals and repeat business.
Design Support
- Assist in preparing mood boards, presentation materials, and design briefs.
- Participate in initial design discussions with clients to ensure accurate translation of needs.
- Support designers in sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings where required.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Maintain CRM records, sales logs, and follow-up schedules.
- Track client feedback and share insights to improve sales processes.
- Ensure all communication and materials reflect the studio's luxury brand standards.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Business, Marketing or related fields
- 2-3 years of interior design or sales-consulting experience (luxury preferred).
- Confident in sales conversations and value explanation.
- Ability to understand and articulate design concepts (no technical drafting required).
- Proactive, well-organised, and comfortable managing multiple client engagements.
- Passion for interiors, aesthetics, and luxury customer experience.
