Job Summary
Support the Project Director and Design Manager by delivering detailed design and presentation drawings, managing site investigations, preparing tender and construction documents, and coordinating with contractors and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce design and presentation drawings that meet project requirements and standards
- Conduct site investigations and engage with local authority officers to ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare detailed specifications, tender documents, and construction drawings to facilitate project bidding and execution
- Coordinate and lead meetings with contractors, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers, and other consultants to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Manage pre-contract activities including contract procedures, correspondence, and reporting to support project readiness
- Perform regular site visits and participate in site meetings with construction teams to monitor progress and address challenges
- Maintain office procedures and administrative tasks to support project documentation and workflow
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficient in Interior Design principles and able to apply knowledge effectively in project tasks
- Skilled in digital tools including CAD software, photo editing applications, and Microsoft Office to produce and manage project documentation
- Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude in collaborative work environments
- Capable of working effectively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
