Job Summary
Collaborate with clients to develop and execute interior design concepts for residential renovations. Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD or SketchUp, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and oversee project progress to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients to gather detailed renovation requirements and preferences to tailor design solutions
- Develop comprehensive design concepts, including space planning and material selection, to meet client needs
- Prepare accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent software to support design execution
- Coordinate effectively with contractors and suppliers to align project activities with established timelines
- Monitor and oversee project progress to ensure smooth execution and timely completion
- Provide practical design consultation and solutions focused on enhancing residential spaces
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field
- 0-3 years of experience in interior design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate client and team interactions
- Ability to manage projects independently with guidance
