Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and creative Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting clients, understanding their needs, and developing full interior design concepts from initial idea to detailed drawings for execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead client meetings to gather detailed design requirements, lifestyle needs, and project expectations to inform design solutions
- Develop and present creative interior design concepts that align with client goals and project scope
- Prepare mood boards, select materials, and create compelling concept presentations to communicate design intent
- Create accurate space planning and layout drawings using SketchUp to optimize functional and aesthetic outcomes
- Produce detailed elevation drawings to support project managers and guide execution teams during implementation
- Recommend and specify appropriate furnishings, lighting, and accessories to enhance client environments and facilitate purchasing decisions
- Manage full design development from initial concept through to project completion, ensuring design integrity and quality
- Collaborate closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure seamless translation of design intent into final deliverables
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of work quality
- Communicate confidently and professionally in client-facing meetings to build trust and foster strong client relationships
Required competencies and certifications
- Graduate from a local Polytechnic or tertiary institute in Interior Design or related field
- Proficient in design software including SketchUp and AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings and presentations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong sense of space planning, design aesthetics, and detailing to deliver innovative and functional interior solutions
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment
