Job Summary
Handle sales enquiries and manage client communications to understand needs and build rapport. Provide expert advice on space planning, design concepts, materials, and color schemes. Manage project costing and quotations tailored to customer requirements. Coordinate site schedules with contractors and suppliers to deliver projects on time.
Responsibilities
- Respond to sales enquiries and engage clients to identify their needs and establish strong relationships
- Advise clients on space planning, design conceptualization, material selection, and color scheme specifications to meet project goals
- Prepare accurate project costings and quotations aligned with customer requirements
- Coordinate site schedules and manage communication with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines by monitoring progress and resolving issues proactively
- Communicate effectively with clients and contractors, including those who are non-English speaking, to facilitate smooth project execution
- Demonstrate self-motivation, responsibility, and teamwork to contribute positively to project outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales or design-related roles
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, and SketchUp software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse clients and stakeholders
- Sales-driven mindset with motivation and empowerment to achieve targets
