INTERIOR DESIGNER

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline from a recognized institution

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in interior design, with exposure to residential, retail, commercial, hospitality, or industrial projects

• Proven experience in a similar role within a design or design & build environment

Technical Proficiency:

• Autodesk AutoCAD

• SketchUp

• Adobe Photoshop

• V-Ray or other rendering software (advantageous)

• Strong knowledge of building regulations, codes, and interior construction details

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

• Passionate about design with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Able to commence work within a short notice period

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive interior design plans and layouts, including:

  • Furniture layout plans

  • Lighting and electrical layout plans

• Produce detailed technical and carpentry drawings, including elevations and construction details

• Develop mood boards, material selections, and conceptual design proposals

• Prepare presentation materials to support the sales and project teams

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to concept development

• Attend client meetings and support design presentations when required

• Assist in ad-hoc design and project-related tasks
