INTERIOR DESIGN DRAFTER

Job Responsibilities

Prepare accurate layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD for interior design and fit-out projects

Translate design concepts into technical drawings that are practical and ready for construction

Conduct site measurements and verification to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions

Update drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and coordination with project team

Assist in preparation of submission drawings and construction drawings

Coordinate with designers, project managers, and contractors to resolve technical details

Identify potential drawing discrepancies or technical issues and propose practical solutions

Ensure drawings are delivered on time and meet required standards for construction

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in interior design / renovation / fit-out projects

• Proficient in AutoCAD (SketchUp / 3D software is a plus)

• Good understanding of construction details, materials, and basic M&E coordination

• Able to conduct site measurements independently

• Detail-oriented with strong technical drawing skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external contractors
