Integration Developer

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients across ASEAN to deliver MuleSoft integration solutions.
• Analyse technical and functional requirements to define scalable API solutions.
• Design, develop, and test MuleSoft APIs using MuleSoft v4 and Anypoint Platform.
• Provide technical guidance throughout implementation, testing, and production deployment.
• Ensure quality delivery through estimation, design, development, unit testing, and governance.
• Create reusable integration patterns, frameworks, and architecture blueprints.
• Perform data transformation using DataWeave (from simple to complex scenarios).
• Ensure adherence to integration standards (REST, JSON, XML, web services).
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies in both processes and technology.
• Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support pre-sales activities and contribute to solution proposals.
• Collaborate with team members across projects and share knowledge.
• Contribute to internal IP, methodologies, and service offerings.
• Mentor junior team members and support capability development (for experienced hires).
• Represent the company as a thought leader (e.g., meetups, content contributions).
• Follow company values and governance processes.
• Participate in team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment activities when required.
• Maintain accurate administrative records (timesheets, expenses, etc.).
• Continuously upskill and keep certifications and skills current.
• Contribute to customer projects with hands-on delivery (guided for fresh graduates).
• Gain familiarity with delivery methodologies and tools.
• Begin working toward MuleSoft certifications.
• Deliver high-quality API solutions to clients with increasing independence.
• Build strong client relationships and technical credibility.
• Collaborate effectively with regional delivery teams.
• Contribute to improving internal practices and reusable assets.
• Share knowledge through internal sessions and technical content.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with integration technologies (middleware, ETL, MDM, API gateway).
• 1 year of experience building APIs and integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (certification preferred).
• Experience with CloudHub (1.0 and/or 2.0).
• Knowledge or experience with APIs, REST, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Knowledge or experience with data transformation concepts (e.g., DataWeave or similar tools).
• Experience in Java / J2EE technologies.
• Familiarity with API-led connectivity architecture.
• Optional experience: webMethods, TIBCO, IBM WebSphere.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
