Integration and Support Engineer - Job Description
Role The Integration Engineer is a key role within the Intersec Professional Services team. This is a customer facing role and the engineer will work from the customer premise.
You will participate in the entire project lifecycle starting with initial solution deployment, system launch and then production support.
After solution launch you will be supporting the day-to-day operations of the platform. This includes monitoring the system, providing frequent updates to the customers and resolving any issues raised by customer. After solution launch, you will be working in shifts providing 24x7 support to the customer.
We are looking for strong advance Linux knowledge in the context of Telco integration, IP networks expertise and automated deployment experience (using git/ansible).
Key Responsibilities
. Installation and configuration of solutions on customers platform
. Creating project-specific documents (test cases, user's guide, requirements documents)
. Prepare and upgrade the solution when a new version is to be deployed
. Support the day-to-day operations
. Proactively monitor customer environment using our internal tools and providing support advice.

Provide L1 and L2 Support after Solution Launch
. Troubleshoot and solve customer incidents within predefined SLA
Profile (skills) Technical skills - Must
. Very good knowledge of Linux operations and administration
. Very good knowledge and experience of Shell Scripting for Unix/Linux
. IP network bases under Linux
. Analytic/ Trouble shooting competences
. Knowledge of Git (daily usage)
. Testing distributed applications and analyzing the whole production system (logs, databases, network connections etc.) Technical skills - Good to Have
. Exposure to Telco Environment and Architecture
. Working experience with Telecom providers or suppliers
. Knowledge of Ansible
. Test Automation expertise an asset.
. Knowledge of Python is a plus
. Knowledge of Vmware Soft skills
. Ability to work under pressure and with calmness
. Autonomous and able to write process documents
. Team spirit, good interpersonal skills
. Excellent communication (oral and written)
. Customer service oriented and be agile
