JOB SUMMARY
As Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Executive, Oleochemicals, the key responsibilities are to enhance information flow, efficiency to aid key decision makers in optimizing the profitability of the group. This can be done through 3 main accountabilities:
Demand Planning - Support the Demand Planner in collating, coordinating and making sense of the overall review and monitoring of Customer Demand, and daily management of allocations and gap closure with regard to Sales Forecasts/Adherence.
Supply Planning - Provide necessary support in the Supply and/or Production Scheduling to manage product supply and inventory levels, to meet customer demand, optimize delivery performance and keep working capital in check.
Sales/Operations Interface - Serve as the liaison between the Sales and Operations/Supply Chain in areas pertaining to day-to-day business operations(Shipment, Good Issuance) and auxiliary procurement/scheduling of materials, driving for efficiencies to ensure maximum profitability to the group.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Aspects:
- Assist Demand Specialist in scrubbing the rolling Sales Forecast hygiene (from Sales by country by customer by product type), in order to generate a forward 12 months projection with clearly documented key assumptions.
- Work closely with Supply Planner on demand/supply balancing, to ensure that forward plans are on track to deliver on Budget
- Support on Daily Sales Enquiry Release, Weekly Demand Controls, Monthly Demand actual vs plan analysis, Monthly Oleo Management Meeting preparation (Demand section), Bi-monthly Demand Review.
Supply Aspects:
- Assist Supply Planner in Daily/Weekly Supply Adherence calls to ensure supply actual is according to plan, and if any variance, need to support in Supply plan adjustment or Bill of Materials review.
- Assist with the Raw Material demand & supply management based on production planning, to meet business requirement.
- Liaise and provide close support to Customer Service to assist with order planning, processing and delivery schedule.
Sales/Operations Interface Aspects:
Collaboration between key stakeholders in the Order-to-Cash process:
- Daily Shipment Call
- Weekly Works Meeting
- Weekly Price Review Forum
- Goods Readiness outlook
Provide necessary Operational Support on:
- Bulk Shipment coordination with SCM, Sales etc.
- 3rd Party Material Sourcing
- Off-spec Material follow-up
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Possess capabilities in planning, programming, performance tracking, or any combination of these.
- Familiarity with Chemical Plant Operations is a bonus
- Possess strong interest and no prior work experience are also encourage to apply
