We are seeking a Locum Intake Officer to provide temporary coverage at Yishun Family Service @ Children's Society. The Intake Officer is the first point of contact for clients, responsible for screening, assessing needs, and ensuring timely support or referral.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to walk-in, call-in, and referred clients
- Conduct intake interviews to assess needs, risks, and suitability for services
- Prioritise and respond to urgent or high-risk cases, including consultation with supervisors
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in SSNet
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for referrals and case follow-up
- Conduct follow-ups with clientswithin required timelines
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field
- Relevant experience in social service or frontline roles preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
