We are seeking an experienced Offshore Insurance Specialist to support and grow our international insurance business based in Singapore. To succeed in this role, applicants must possess a strong understanding of insurance products and regulations in Singapore as compared to those available offshore, along with excellent presentation skills to effectively engage overseas advisers and international clients.
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert on offshore insurance solutions, with a strong understanding of insurance products, offshore business frameworks, international markets, and cross-border regulatory environments.
Advise clients on life, wealth accumulation, legacy planning, and protection strategies tailored to offshore client needs.
Build and manage trusted relationships with overseas advisers, intermediaries, and clients.
Stay up to date on the firm's full suite of insurance products, offshore offerings, regulatory developments, and market trends.
Deliver clear and confident presentations of insurance solutions to diverse international audiences in a dynamic, global environment.
Generate ideas and develop actionable plans to increase sales activity and effectively market insurance solutions to the offshore audience.
Support client onboarding, policy servicing, renewals, and claims processes
Maintain accurate records and client documentation
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline. CFP/AFP candidate preferred.
Self-motivated, proactive and have a strong sense of ownership. With the ability to work both independently and as a team player.
Excellent presentation, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail.
Fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate, negotiate, and present to Mandarin-speaking clients and partners in key regional markets.
Knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry best practices.
Licensed in life insurance and general insurance.
Experience in handling offshore clients preferred.
