UBTS Pte Ltd operates a large-scale fleet of heavy vehicles and specialised equipment. As we strengthen our operational and risk frameworks, we are seeking a sharp, detail-driven Insurance Liaison to safeguard the business through effective insurance management, claims handling, and stakeholder coordination.

The Role

Reporting to Senior Manager, the Insurance Liaison serves as the central point of contact between the company, brokers, underwriters, loss adjusters, and internal departments. You will manage the full insurance lifecycle — from policy placement through to claims resolution — ensuring the business is protected, compliant, and commercially competitive.

Key Responsibilities

•      Manage day-to-day relationships with brokers, insurers, and assessors across motor fleet, public liability, property, marine cargo, workers compensation, and equipment policies.

•      Oversee the end-to-end claims process: lodgement, documentation, investigation support, settlement, and reporting.

•      Maintain accurate insurance registers, certificates of currency, schedules of insured assets, and renewal calendars.

•      Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, HR, Legal, and Finance to ensure incidents are reported promptly and supporting evidence is captured.

•      Support annual renewals: prepare underwriting submissions, asset data, and loss histories; benchmark premiums and recommend coverage adjustments.

•      Track claims trends, identify risk hotspots, and contribute to loss-prevention initiatives.

•      Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and lender insurance obligations.

About You

•      3+ years experience in an insurance, claims, broking, or risk role — ideally within transport, logistics, construction, or heavy industry.

•      Strong working knowledge of motor fleet and commercial insurance products.

•      Excellent documentation, follow-through, and stakeholder management skills.

•      Comfortable working with imperfect data and bringing structure to messy processes.

•      Tier 1 or Tier 2 insurance qualification (or equivalent) preferred.

•      Proficient with Excel and insurance/claims management systems.
