Legal Counsel - Insurance (APAC), 4-8PQE
A regional digital banking and financial services platform is expanding its insurance proposition and is seeking a lawyer to support the commercial build-out of insurance products across the region. The role is embedded within the business, working at the intersection of product design, partnerships, and regulation, rather than operating as a purely advisory function.
The role supports the end-to-end development of insurance products, from initial structuring through to regional rollout in a digital environment. You will partner with product and commercial stakeholders to deliver solutions that are both commercially viable and regulatory compliant across APAC.
Alongside this, you will provide guidance on insurance regulation, licensing, and distribution partnerships, and play a key role in regulatory engagement and the governance of insurance products as they scale regionally.
Requirements:
This role suits a 4-8 PQE lawyer with experience in insurance products or insurance regulatory work, gained in a top-tier law firm or in-house. You will be comfortable working closely with commercial teams and contributing to product development from early stage through launch. A valid work visa in Singapore is required.
