About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance & Accounts Executive to support our operations. This role combines insurance claims processing, direct billing coordination, and finance support, working closely with the Head of Accounts.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both operational work and financial analysis, and wants to grow into a broader finance/operations role.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance & Billing
- Process insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Liaise with insurance companies for direct billing approvals and follow-ups
- Track outstanding claims and ensure timely reimbursements
- Resolve billing discrepancies and documentation issues
Accounts & Bookkeeping
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping (AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations)
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing processes
Finance Support
- Work with the Head of Accounts on:Financial forecastingCash flow trackingProfit & Loss (P&L) reporting
- Support budgeting and financial analysis tasks
Operations Support
- Improve internal processes for claims and billing efficiency
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in: Insurance admin / claims processing OR Accounts / bookkeeping OR a hybrid of both (preferred)
- Familiarity with insurance claims or direct billing processes is a strong advantage
- Basic accounting knowledge (e.g. bookkeeping, reconciliations, P&L)
- Proficient in Excel (e.g. basic formulas, tracking)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills for liaising with insurers and internal teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare / clinic / insurance environment
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
- Exposure to financial reporting or forecasting

Salary Range
Competitive and commensurate with experience ($3,500 - $5,000+)
