Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide engineering guidance and support the development of new technologies within the local laboratory.
• Data Integrity: Accountable for the accurate release of testing data and the official sign-off of quality control data.
• Problem Solving: Oversee routine and non-routine technical activities, including movement, vibration, and real-time reading analysis.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interact directly with customers on technical issues and deliver presentations to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Business Support: Provide technical input to support business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Mentorship: Assist in the professional development and training of junior technicians and engineers.
• Analysis: Utilize advanced methods and industry resources to reach testing conclusions and implement complex testing concepts.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in an engineering or testing environment.
• Expertise: High level of expertise in core theories and concepts related to Water, Ground, and Environment.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of testing concepts, data compilation, and strong computer skills.
• Safety: Solid working knowledge of site safety protocols and regulations.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge to practical business and laboratory applications.
