Job Summary

You will lead the development and implementation of instrumentation, control, and automation solutions across various sectors. This role involves designing electrical control systems, executing onsite testing and commissioning, and delivering technical support to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement instrumentation and control systems, including robotics, building automation, industrial automation, and process control applications to meet client requirements
  • Design electrical control systems that ensure reliable and efficient operation of automation processes
  • Execute process automation, instrumentation, and control projects through testing, commissioning, and onsite support to guarantee system performance and client satisfaction
  • Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and develop SCADA/HMI interfaces to optimize process control and monitoring
  • Configure hardware and write software code to integrate industrial networking, computer, and server infrastructure for seamless system operation
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and training to clients to facilitate effective system use and maintenance
  • Deliver ad-hoc engineering support to customers, resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure project success and continuous improvement
  • Manage multiple tasks proactively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards and customer orientation

Required competencies and certifications

  • Hands-on experience implementing instrumentation systems
  • Knowledge of building automation and process control principles
  • Experience with BMS, PLC, and HMI process control and automation systems, including onsite commissioning
  • Proficiency in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC programming and SCADA development
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills applied to engineering challenges
  • Electrical control, instrumentation, and control system knowledge
  • IT skills related to server/client infrastructure and industrial networking
  • Effective communication skills for written and spoken interactions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently with a proactive approach

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Relevant graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computing, or Mechatronic)
  • 1-2 years of experience in engineering practice, process automation, robotics, service, and maintenance
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills,
