Lead Instrument & Control

Airswift is seeking a seasoned Lead Instrument and Control professional to join a high-impact offshore oil and gas platform project based in Singapore. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader with deep regional experience and a passion for driving excellence in instrumentation design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the instrumentation and control design team for offshore platform projects.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of instrument and control system design, ensuring compliance with international and regional standards.
- Apply deep knowledge of marine engineering instrumentation, design principles, and control systems.
- Ensure adherence to international specifications including API, ISA, IEC, SHELL DEP, QP, and relevant industry regulations.
- Guide the team in using instrumentation design software such as SPI and INSTRUCALC for loop diagrams, control system configuration, and analysis.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges swiftly and logically.
- Inspire and manage a high-performing team, fostering creativity and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Measurement & Control Technology, Instrumentation, or related fields.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation design for offshore oil & gas platforms.
- At least 3 years in a core design or management role on offshore projects in Qatar or the Middle East.
- Strong command of English for professional communication and coordination.
- Proven leadership experience in managing instrumentation teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced project environment.
