Plan, organise and supervise instrument contractors for all instrumentation maintenance activities, including daily maintenance and routine plant shutdown maintenance (SDM) activities; ensure that all maintenance works are carried out safely and timely with good work quality, so as to sustain reliability & integrity of live-run plant instruments.
Liaise with Operation on daily permit-to-work matters and attend Operation daily meetings.
Report work plan & status during Instrument daily meetings.
Raise procurement requests for instrument materials and services.
Check & accept contractor's services for work schedule & quality, and instrument materials for correct quantity & specifications.
Support and supervise instrumentation project work handled by Engineers from Instrument & Control Maintenance function.
Requirements
A recognised Diploma in Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering, or Higher Nitec / Nitec in related fields.
Minimum 3 years (for Diploma holders) or 6 years (for Nitec holders) of working experience in instrument maintenance and engineering.
Understand a wide variety of industrial instrumentation and analysers, including the operating principles & technology, applications, technical constraints and measurement accuracy.
Good written & verbal communication & interpersonal skills, well versed in report writing.
