Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Instrument Engineer based in Singapore. The Instrument Engineer will work on the design, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation systems. Daily tasks will include ensuring the functionality and compliance of instrumentation, conducting regular testing and calibration, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency is an essential aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Instrumentation and Calibration processes
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and Metrology concepts
• Proficiency in working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and related technologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience in the offshore oil and gas industry is an advantage
• Familiarity with international standards and safety regulations in instrumentation and control systems is preferred
