We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with deep knowledge in I&C for our Singapore project.
Responsibilities
- To support our client's project by exploring and contributing to smart and efficient pre-testing of simulation and function testing of control system logic, calibration of instrument settings etc., and by doing so prepare for efficient commissioning of systems.
- Responsible for instrumentation document such as datasheets, Instrument Index, I/O list, Hook-up's, Loop diagrams, Interconnection diagrams and construction drawings
- Witness activities related to installation and testing to assure the quality of the installation and that the contractors fulfil their obligation to deliver the process systems as per design, and that all functionalities fulfil the project requirements.
- Participating in FAT/SAT if needed.
- Review P&ID's, Instrument & control system interfaces with various Mechanical and Electrical packages, Interface with other disciplines.
- Responsible for checking and following up of LCI requirements for technical information's produced by contractors, suppliers and sub-contractors, and follow up on the technical LCI documentation flow between the company and contactors data systems.
- Responsible for checking and reviewing vendor documentation reviewing such as water injection pump package, instrumentation location plans, instrument hook up and installation drawings.
- Preparation of instrument design basis for SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and ESD (Emergency Shutdown), F&G system, Control systems architecture, Control narratives etc.
- Ensure compliance with German and Dutch offshore regulations such as BSH requirements for offshore wind, grid code and connection standards.
- Attending project meetings, schedule control, submit for permits for on-site installation, set up, and commission monitoring.
- Identify, study, propose, and implement area for improvement in the field of instrumentation engineering to enhance operation and improve overall equipment reliability
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have than 15 years of working experience in I&C design of offshore fixed platform or floating oil and gas production facilities or renewables facilities.
- Must have proven experience in at least one full lifecycle HDVC platform project.
- Demonstrated experience with German and Dutch offshore wind regulations.
- Personnel with working experiences as owner rep in offshore renewables projects, and with experience working in both Singapore and European sites are preferred.
- Must be familiar with the design and block diagrams for ESD, SCADA, F&G, Control systems architecture
- Proficient in instrument control design software such as INSTRUCALC, AutoCAD, Micro Station, PDS etc.
- Experienced in high level stakeholder engagement, and competent in leading multidisciplinary coordination capability.
