Job Description

A leading APAC financial services platform is expanding its Institutional Sales team in Singapore.

This role focuses on originating and managing relationships with institutional clients, covering Singapore, China and selected ASEAN markets. Key client segments include high-frequency trading firms (HFT), systematic quant hedge funds and institutional asset managers.

We are open to consider candidates from client servicing backgrounds, provided they have direct experience managing institutional client relationships and demonstrate a strong commercial mindset, hunter mentality and clear motivation to build new business in a sales-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Originate and develop new institutional client relationships across APAC markets
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and account expansion
  • Build and maintain relationships with HFT firms, systematic hedge funds and institutional asset managers
  • Provide guidance on trading setup, execution workflows, and market access solutions
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client servicing
  • Achieve defined revenue targets and sales KPIs
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events and market engagement activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or its equivalent
  • Experience in institutional sales, capital markets or client servicing
  • Must have exposure to institutional clients (HFT, quant hedge funds, asset managers)
  • Strong hunter mindset with ability to originate and close new business
  • Strong knowledge of Asian equities and derivatives
  • Bilingual capability to effectively engage with clients across Greater China markets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment
