We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with 0-3 years experience to support the continued growth of its Institution Sales Team in Singapore. The position covers placement of both equities and bonds. The role is well suited for a driven and hardworking candidate with ambitions to fast track his /her career in a fast-paced global investment bank.
Key responsibilities:
- Sale of corporate bonds and equities, denominated in USD, EUR, NOK and SEK, in the primary market.
- Participate in secondary market trading flow for equities and bonds.
- Work alongside senior team to support, establish, maintain and build strong relationships with new and existing institutional investors, asset managers, bank prop desks, family offices, hedge funds, private banks, private equities, special situation and distressed funds.
- Develop trading ideas independently and in a team setting.
Required Background
- Interpersonal Excellence: A highly motivated, results-driven team player with exceptional communication skills.
- Sector Experience: Prior internship experience within a global investment bank, specifically in Sales & Trading, Equity Research, or Corporate Finance.
- Industry Focus: A demonstrated interest in the Energy, Infrastructure, Commodities, and Maritime sectors.
- Academic Achievement: Minimum of a Second Class (Upper) Honors, Magna Cum Laude, or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Economics.
- Linguistic Versatility: Proficiency in multiple languages is highly advantageous for both verbal and written communication.
- Required to pass CMFAS M1A/B & 6/A when appointed.
