Institutional Sales Manager (Fund Management)

Our client, a fast growing fund management firm is looking for institutional sales professionals to join their team.

Job Description

  • Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, insurance companies, banks, private banks, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and external asset managers.
  • Drive sales of the firm's investment solutions across equities, fixed income, multi-asset, alternatives, and ESG strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the institutional client base to achieve fundraising and revenue targets.
  • Partner with portfolio managers and investment specialists to present investment strategies, market insights, and portfolio performance to clients and prospects.
  • Lead RFPs, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and client presentations to support new mandates and ongoing client servicing.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify business opportunities and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with consultants, investment advisors, and distribution partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 7-12 years of institutional sales or business development experience within an asset management or fund management company.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, including equities, fixed income, multi-asset, alternatives, and ESG strategies.
  • Proven track record in institutional client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
