Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding process specifications.
• Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to project requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Perform welding repairs and maintenance on machinery, structures, and equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Follow all workplace safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum [X] years of welding experience (depending on job level).
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various welding techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in welding and fabrication.

Working Conditions

• Work may involve exposure to heat, sparks, noise, and confined spaces.
• May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmet, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
• Overtime or weekend work may be required depending on project deadlines.
• Maximum job site under sun.
