Installation Proposal Engineer

My Client (A leader in the cable supply Industry) is looking for a Installation Proposal Engineer.

This role supports tendering and early project phases, focusing on developing technical installation solutions, evaluating subcontractors, estimating costs, and preparing documentation for submarine power cable projects. Responsibilities include reviewing tender documents and survey data, conducting site visits, preparing RFQs, coordinating with internal departments (engineering, procurement, legal, logistics), and assisting in client and subcontractor negotiations. Post-contract, the engineer supports project kickoff, technical handovers, and initial execution phases, contributing to risk assessments and lessons learned.

Key Requirements:

• Engineering degree with strong technical and analytical skills
• Fluency in English; ability to manage complexity and adapt to shifting priorities
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project
• Willingness to travel frequently
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Background in submarine cable installation or related engineering roles
• Prior experience in proposal preparation, subcontracting, or marine operations

Experienced Candidates would be considered for a higher level position.
